They were great! Very energetic, that's really the only way to describe it. They sounded good as well. I'd never heard them before, but I will definitely be picking up that CD now. I suspect I'm not the only fan they made, either. Their bassist was off the hook...he had this really interesting little dance for every song, I can't describe it, but they were a great warm-up. Much better than Course of Nature...they were good but they just didn't have the energy. When CON's set was over, the lead singer said something to the effect of "I want to thank those motherf*ckers [Creed] for letting us play with them," and the girl behind me went "*gasp* He cussed!!!" I think that Creed is officially the cleanest-mouthed rock band in existence. :) I figured that the first show back on tour would either be excellent or really, really, bad, and you could tell they were giving 110%...I paid $200 for my tickets and no question it was worth it. Even the friend I dragged...I mean took...was impressed. :) -Kate >From: "Sandy Carter" >Reply-To: The New Improved Less Lame List >To: "The New Improved Less Lame List" >Subject: Re: [ Creed Discuss ] VA Beach Concert >Date: Fri, 12 Jul 2002 07:23:48 -0500 > >Kate, how was 12Stones? > "But even though my world was unrecognizable and upside-down, there was one thing that remained the same. *You* were my friend, and you told me the truth. Even when the world was falling apart, you were my constant...my touchstone." _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.debbir.com/lists/Creed-discuss.htm
